About TripLoc
Trips can become fragmented across maps, messaging, location sharing, photos and emergency communication. TripLoc's premise is to bring the journey into one connected environment.
A shared journey should have a shared place. TripLoc is designed around the trip itself rather than around one isolated feature.
TripLoc is being built around a simple idea: traveling together should feel connected, not fragmented. The product brings the people, places and moments of a trip together while keeping privacy, security and user control at the center.
TripLoc uses terms such as trip, trip member, trip organizer, live location, location sharing, checkpoint, destination, trip activity, trip chat, safety and privacy.
Beautiful product experiences sit alongside practical privacy, security, safety and support information. TripLoc's public documentation should describe the product as it actually exists and evolve as new capabilities are released.
TripLoc is designed to grow with the needs of people traveling together. Business and organizational trips can eventually connect to a public developer platform with APIs, SDKs, webhooks and documentation once those capabilities are ready.
TripLoc documentation should describe the actual product, permissions and controls rather than promise capabilities that are not shipped.
